A Different Kind of Movement

I got up just after 6am and began laying out all my things—going through everything carefully, deciding what to pack and what I no longer needed. It felt a bit like closing a chapter.
Then came the challenge: disassembling the buggy and trying to wrap it in the cardboard I had collected the day before. My room quickly turned into a mess—but as always, where there is a will, there is a way. Piece by piece, I made it work.
Just after 10am, I ordered an Uber. I could feel a bit of tension creeping in—I was slightly late, unsure if a large enough car would be available, how long it would take to the airport, and what the situation there would be like. The day before, I had heard that due to a temporary closure at the airport in Santiago de Compostela Airport, there might be more traffic in A Coruña Airport.
Still, I reminded myself—it's a small airport. And in many ways, I love the unpredictability of travel. So many external factors, so little control. There’s something freeing in that.
I managed to slide the buggy—wrapped in cardboard—down to the lobby and carefully maneuvered it outside, rolling it along its edges toward the entrance just as the Uber arrived.
I was ready. Ready for a different kind of day. A travel day. And also aware that I would be flying over distances I had just covered on foot. That contrast stayed with me.
Check-in was easy. Everything worked out smoothly.
The flight to Madrid went well, and so did the connection. And now, I’m about to land in Zagreb.
It feels exciting—like stepping into the next phase.
Thank you for being here, Andrea
